Centre A to Participate in Cultural Olympiad
June 5, 2009. The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) has confirmed support of $25,000 for Centre A to present a special project for the Cultural Olympiad. Led by Vancouver artist Bryan Mulvihill, the "World Tea Party" will transform the gallery into a tea salon and platform for projections, performance, community partnerships and global networking.
