Debra Zhou wins Important Grant
May 29, 2009. Debra Zhou has been awarded a grant to act as Curator-in-Residence at Centre A for one year. The grant comes from the program of Assistance to Culturally Diverse Curators of the Canada Council for the Arts. Awarded by peer jury, the $30,000 grant is a validation of Debra's artistic vision and marks an important step forward in her professional development. Her residency begins in July 2009 and will culminate in an online exhibition of new music and audio art in 2010.
