at Pigeon Park, the InterUrban Gallery and Centre A

as part of the Intersection Project : Lighting up the Carrall Street Greenway

The "Intersection Project" culminates on Saturday, December 8 with a live public art event. Award winning artist Paul Wong has been commissioned to take over Pigeon Park with an interactive art experience entitled "Everybody Is Somebody" that invites the audience to participate in live video projections, take polaroids, and wear illuminated jewellery and costumes.

Students from the UBC School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture will light up the windows of the BC Electric Building with video art. The exhibitions by Alex McKenzie, "The Velvet Light Box" and Koki Tanaka, "Turning the Lights On", will be open for viewing. Local businesses will participate. You will find lights in the windows, food and fun.

Join us for a celebration of light on the Downtown Eastside.
